Avec ses nombreux albums bien reçu par le public et la presse et ses multiples tournées, Chris Bergson est devenu un nom dans le circuit international du blues. Et grâce à la sortie de « Confession Of a Fool », Moses Patrou s’est aussi fait un nom dans cette scène blues. Chacun à sa façon, ils mettent beaucoup de soul dans leur musique. Bergson avec son jeu de guitare plutôt jazzy et son phrasé, Patrou par ses rythmes funky et sa voix grave, qui résonne bien dans la musique de son propre trio Hammond.

Ils se croisent régulièrement dans le club de jazz et blues à New York, c’est là qu’est née l’idée de créer The Brooklyn Holdouts et de prendre la route ensemble. Ils seront pour la première fois en Europe en 2027 pour un voyage musical qui les emmènera en Belgique, en France etaux Pays-Bas, avec une étape à Lessines le vendredi 12 mars à la Salle Magritte.

Middels veelgeprezen albums en even goed ontvangen tours is Chris Bergson inmiddels een gevestigde naam binnen het internationale bluescircuit. En met de release van “Confession of a Fool” nestelde ook Moses Patrou zich in het nationale tourcircuit. Elk op eigen wijze brengen Bergson en Patrou veel soul in hun muziek. Bergson met zijn jazz georiënteerde gitaarspel en gepassioneerde zang, en Patrou met zijn funky ritmes en doorleefde stem die in zijn klassieke Hammond trio formaties helemaal tot hun recht komen.

In New York treffen ze elkaar regelmatig op de betere jazz- en bluespodia, en daar is het idee gegroeid om The Brooklyn Holdouts op te richten en onder die naam samen op tour te gaan. In 2027 steken ze voor het eerst de oceaan over voor een muzikale reis door Belgie, Nederland en Frankrijk. Met dus een pitstop in Lessen op vrijdag 12 maart.

Thanks to criticly acclaimed albums and lots of touring Chris Bergson has made a name for himself in the international bluesscene. And with the release of “Confession of a Fool”, Moses Patrou equally put his mark in that scene. Each in his own way puts a lot of soul in the music they perform, Bergson through his jazzy way of playing the guitar and passionate signing and Patrou through his funky rhytms and strong voice, which he also shows in his own Hammond based trio.

They met frequently in the New York jazz- and bluesclubs and it was there that they decided to go on tour together under the Brooklyn Holdouts. In 2027 they will coe to Europe for the first time and do a tour through France, Belgium and the Netherlands, with a stop on Friday March 12th in Salle Magritte, Lessines.
